The Puerto Rico Tourism Company is in charge of tourism matters and regulations in Puerto Rico. It is governed by a board of directors and an executive director appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico with the advice and consent of the Senate of Puerto Rico.

The Air and Maritime Access Division of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company has the mission to increase air and cruise traffic flow.
The team engages in business development initiatives in order to sustain and expand transportation offerings to & from Puerto Rico.

50 Year Anniversary of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company
The company was created on August 17, 1970, by Governor Luis A. Ferré to coordinate the marketing and growth of Puerto Rico’s tourism sector.
