Otra victoria judicial para turismo frente al juego ilegal

San Juan, Puerto Rico – 3 de octubre de 2016 – El miércoles, 28 de septiembre de 2016, la jueza Hon. Aileen Navas Auger, de la sala de recursos extraordinarios del Centro Judicial de San Juan, emitió sentencia a favor de la Compañía de Turismo (“CTPR”) desestimando el recurso de injunction radicado en su contra. El recurso fue interpuesto por dueños de máquinas y locales donde se encontraban las mismas, que fueron intervenidos por personal de la CTPR y que fueron multados por violación a la Ley de Juegos de Azar.

The FCCA expects to draw more than 1,000 participants to the Island

The Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), Ingrid I. Rivera Rocafort, confirmed that 19 different cruise lines plan to attend the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Cruise Conference & Trade Show. The conference will take place on September 26-30, 2016 and is expected to draw more than 1,000 participants, positively impacting the hotel industry and the economy.

New project estimates an annual economic impact of $1.8 million to promote Puerto Rico

Rivera Rocafort, announced the first phase of the installation of 120 slot machines in Terminal A and B of the Luis Muñóz Marín International Airport. The second phase is scheduled to be completed October 2016, with the remaining 80 slot machines, 60 of which will be placed in Terminal C.
